What more is there to say?

Family reunion

We had a sitton family reunion last month. We had so so much fun seeing everybody! It was too short!
Course we partied so hard we were all totally dead tired by the last night. Most of these pictures have people sleeping in them :)

Dadu and Grandma looked pretty happy to be surrounded by all their posterity. Sweet wonderful grandparents!

Sammy and Marky making trouble with marbles :)
Max prayed, "Please bless my cousins. Please bless my next cousins" And he cried when he found out that Evie and Arelyn had gone home. SO sad! We love our family!
Sammy ran upstairs in just a panic yesterday saying, "Mommy, Daddy, Max got cracked open!!" We of course bolted down stairs calling, "Max!, Max! Are you alright!!???" only to find cute little Max at the bottom of the stairs holding up his pointer finger with a little scratch on it. Cracked open, you funny boy!

Cousin Miles has been over at our house this week because Nat is taking her kids and Max to swimming lessons. He and Sammy are a hilarious Duo. They like to wrestle and have punching matches. They have a BLAST pretending with each other, and sometimes they fight. A couple days ago Miles and Sammy both wanted this little spider toy. Being that they are both pretty small and pretty strong willed, no body was going to give in. I tried to distract them or get them to negotiate but it wasn't going to be an easy fix. I was rpoud of them though because they sat and talked to eachother about for probably 10 minutes calmly trying to convince each other to give it up. It was Hilarious!!, "But this one has blue on it, you want the blue one." "No it doesn't have blue on it, this one is blue." It went on about like that.

Yesterday was Sunday. Max got to my Dad's house and sat down with his ipad. Then he said to me, "Mommy I will only play Sunday games. I wont play this game or this game or this game." Pointing to his 3 favorite games. I was so so proud of him for deciding all by himself what was appropriate for Sunday. I have such good kids!

Max is taking swimming lessons and he also took some last month. Last month he learned to float by himself on his stomach and back and swim with his head under the water from the wall to the teacher at least half the length of the pool. The first week of his new swimming lessons Max was letting his teachers guide him around the pool with his head high up out of the water. When I asked him why he didn't show his new teacher that he could swim by himself he told me, "I don't have to in this class."

Sweet Prayers

Sammy: "...Please bless Mommy and Daddy...And please bless all the guys. Amen"

Max: "...Please bless me that the house wont caught on fire. And please bless everybody in the whole world. And please bless all the people on cold planets"

Today-Diddly-I-Ay

Let is be written and let it be known, Phoebe is the sweetest, easiest baby ever! She never cries. Even when she is hungry she doesn't cry. She kind of yells, "AHHH, AHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHHH!"  The only time I hear her cry is when she is eating. She kind of chokes and cries and has a little trouble whenever she eats. We're going to try Zantac but the good news is she is still gaining weight. She is such a cute little tub! She loves her brothers! They lay on her and pick her up and roll her around and for the most part she likes it all. She is so easy going! She sleeps anywhere and everywhere. Half the time I look down and find her sleeping on my hip.
I hate working...a lot. It breaks my heart to be so busy when she is small. I feel like I can't soak up enough of these sweet moments before they are gone. But I am trying to. When she goes down for a nap I must be so productive and then maybe half the time she is awake I have to just put down the phone and everything else and just say "if I miss another minute of this baby my heart will break, so Just Kidn Around will have to wait"
This week the doctor and the dentist have been the bane of my existence! They are so darn inflexible! The dentist will only fill my children's cavities during one hour of the day when they are in swimming lessons. The doctor schedules out 3 months in advance so Phoebe wont get a 4 month well check till she is 7 months. I am pulling my hair out and screaming in my brain with rage.
Strangely enough though when I got a call at young womens last night that a pipe broke at JKA and there was water everywhere and the contractor had made a mistake and the previous questionable owners were there giving orders, I was able to deal with that whole ordeal super calmly and clear-headedly. Of course I am pretty sure that was just a miracle because I was asking for help. The Lord is very good to me!

Penny in the belly

Yesterday Sammy came to us with a big smile on his face and said proudly, " I ate a money and now it is in my tummy and I am going to die!"

He wasn't wheezing or anything so I didn't panic but Max did. He started crying hysterically saying, "I know he didn't eat it, I know he didn't!" We calmed Max down and then called the doctor who told us we needed to take him to the Urgent Care mainly because Sammy kept saying he could feel it in his neck.

It was bedtime so I was just going to take Sammy but Max wouldn't hear of it. He was super worried about his brother! He threw a big fit until we decided to just all go. Poor Max, it was so sweet to see him so worried about little Sam.

Once Sammy found out he had to go to the doctor he started saying, "No I didn't eat a penny. I was just kidding!"

Then when we got him in the car he said thoughtfully, "They can't break me though. I am too hard."

He must have thought we wanted to get the money back. I assured him that we didn't care at all about the money, we were just worried about him and that I wouldn't let ANYBODY hurt my boy!

He was just as proud as he could be laying on the x-ray table. Max was back in the waiting room with me worrying again, "Mommy will there be electricity all over the room? Will lightning come to Sammy?"

Bad as it sounds we laughed when we saw the X-ray. No need to worry anymore since it was in his stomach.
Little Monkey! What are we going to do with you! Sammy is hilarious! And dangerous! He is so strong-willed there is just no telling him anything. Then tonight after screaming and kicking for 2 hours about sleeping in his own bed he finally calmed down and gave me 5 kisses and some sweet snuggles before he finally fell asleep. I love that Boy! Also sweet sweet Max for always taking such good care of Sammy! I am so grateful they love each other so much!
