Maybe 3 weeks ago my mom and I drove out to the church orchard in Caldwell and bought 320 pounds of apples because they were selling them for 25 cents a pound. Over the next 3 days we canned them into applesauce with all my sisters and sisters-in-law. luckily we canned them at Natalie's house. I felt so bad, it was such a crazy mess! It was exhausting and crazy, but in the end, the applesauce is delicious and it was cheap and we learned more about preserving food.
