Yay we're current!

I had a great day a couple weeks ago. I am so sick of being a slug!!! This day as soon as I realized I felt like myself I got the kids bundled up and we went to the park. SO many days wasted watching TV. It was so great to see them laughing and playing outside!! Rocco acted like he'd died and gone to heaven! I started feeling sick there but  i was able to stick it out awhile. I took a lot of pictures of Phoebe. She was j just so pretty that day! i wish I would have taken more of Sammy too! He was moving to fast for me to catch him.

Phoebe is such a cute little worker! She works all day! Scrappy was at our house over the weekend and chewed a dog toy into tiny pieces and I caught Phoebe picking all the pieces up and throwing them away without anyone asking her too. Also whenever I unload the dishwasher or wash the table she immediately gets in on the action. I'm so grateful for her!

Max and Sammy are so cute!!! I had a terrible day last Sunday and had to stay home from church and everything. When they got home I took a nap and woke up to find two adorable boys whispering and sneaking around in spy costumes. They were trying not to wake me up :)

Addie is such a sweet big cousin.
Phoebe loves fancy clothes of all kinds. And sometimes she wants to wear them all at the same time :)

Happy Birthday Phoebe and Javier

Sweet Phoebe turned two and her birthday just about broke my heart. I was absolutely in the throws of misery on her birthday so I wasn't able to do much for dear little princess. I bought her a couple princess movies on iTunes and ordered her cupcakes from Rosaurs. I was also so glad that I majorly overdid Christmas for Phoebe so I had some presents I had saved for her birthday. She got a really cute play kitchen that she has just been loving and some fun books. I love this girl more than I can say. She is the light of my life! Every tinting she does makes my day. I am so grateful that she wants to be with me even when I have been laying on the couch feeling miserable, she will still come lay down with me and snuggle. In fact she'll bring me a pillow and order me to lay down, "ni-night!" then she'll get up with me and spread her blanket on both of us. I love this girl!!!

She was really excited about her "Rella" cupcakes (they were sparkly blue for Cinderella) She couldn't wait to start eating it until we sang to her.

Max and Sammy had fun spreading frosting all over their faces :)

On Javier's birthday a week later I was feeling a little better. I went out and bought an ice-cream cake and a couple presents and wrapped them. That was a better day than today was to be able to do all that! Phoebe was so excited about the presents. She carried them all around in a pile like this for an hour while we waited for him to get home.
It wasn't a great birthday either, but Javier was really sweet about it. I am lucky it was these two birthdays I missed really because I have a feeling Max and Sammy would be significantly more depressed if I could't do the usual hullabaloo for them.

The presents I got for Javier were wii remotes and a game so they spent the evening playing Mario Cart Wii!

January

My amazing kids built these airplanes out of tear new blocks. How cool is that?

 sick mommy.
sweet Phoebe, happy to wear her princess jambs all day.
Sammy and Phoebe are the cutest little loving sibling pair!
then again so are Max and Sammy. And Max and Phoebe!

Christmas Louisiana

So on Christmas morning we woke up early and opened presents then cleaned up as fast as we could and packed carryons and high tailed it to the airport.

We flew to Louisiana. Got in afetr midnight then woke up early the next morning and did Christmas again :)

Mimi got the kids so many cute things. She's an expert! They always love the presents she gets them :)
Oh man, I don;t know what to say about that trip except it was so fun. It was so fun to be with Mom and Dad and Maddie and Sophie! We just enjoyed each others company so much and soaked up the days!
It was so much fun to be there in the mission home and get to meet so many of the missionaries. We got to be involved in a couple different lessons. One was with a hispanic family and Javier taught most of it. It was so fun to be able to be a part of that!

At one of the plantations they had these little handmade dolls. Phoebe loved them so much she just wanted to hold them and she cried whenever we took one away so being the pushover I am I bought her one.

On our last day we went to the New Orleans zoo. The kids had so much fun!

Daddy reading the kids the story of Thomas Monson and the Christmas train.
These pictures were taken at the old state capitol. It was so pretty and interesting!

Max made Wall-E out of play dough. It was awesome!!!
Mimi and Max had a drawing lesson. Ever since Mom and Dad left on their mission Max has been wanting to have a drawing lesson with Mimi. It was so sweet of her to do it with him!

Sammy loved these little Raccoons. When it was tim to move on Sammy said goodbye to each one, "I love you raccoon thats asleep and all the raccoons, raccoon thats in the water, raccoon with the muddy feet! You are my favorite!! Bye bye!!" I thought he was pretty cute and we saw an awesome dancing parrot so that was fun.
They got to pet a baby alligator.

And last but not least Sammy;s cute picture of Santa Clause.
 And lizard man and R2D2.
