Sammy was hillarious in Disney World

I almost forgot to write about some of the hillarious/cute things my kids said on our trip. Here goes:

When we first drove in late Sunday night we were driving by all these warehouses and I said something like, "I think we might be officially in disney's land!" And Sammy cried out, "Yay!!!! Disneyland!!! I like it, Disneyland!!!!"

In at the end of Mickey's philharmagic Donald Duck is thrown out of a tuba into the back of the theater and you can see his bum sticking out of the wall. At this point Sammy jumped up on his chair and screamed out, "Mommy!!!! Donald Duck Stuck!!! Look Mommy!!! Donald Duck Stuck!!!!!!"

One day we saw some real ducks walking across our path and Sammy called out, "Hi Donald Duck!!!"

It is just too bad I waited to write this post till now because there were so so many more, but this is all I can remember. Alas!

Day 5- Sammy's Birthday, and the temple

The first time Max went on Splash mountain he did not like it and he said he would never go on it again. But after so much pleading from Mommy, he agreed he would go on it once with me and he loved it, so on our last day he was really really excited to go on it again. This time I went with him first and wouldn't you know it we had a tidal wave crash into our laps and we were both soaked head to foot. But Max was a good sport and he still went again with his Daddy:) But he wanted to be protected from the water this time.
Our last day in Disney World was also sweet Sammy's 2nd Birthday. It was kind of a crazy birthday in some ways but ut was pretty awesome too. We let him pick a lot of what we did that day and around lunch time we bought this little piece of cake and sang him happy birthday. He was so cute! My sweet little 2 year old! Oh How I love you!!!

We realized at some point that after this 40 hour driving week our kids would not be up for another 2 hour trip to the temple this month so we went to the Orlando temple before we headed out on Saturday. We tried our best to look presentable but we were pretty wiped out. It was amazing to be in the temple! I hope when we grow up that we can serve a temple mission and be in the temple every single day! The Orlando temple is beautiful and it was so fun that while I was waiting fro Javi the kids and I got to see a bride and groom which is always so fun!
SO it was an awesome trip!!!! I'm so glad we got to go and that our kids are so amazing and that they were able to put up with their crazy parents ambitious vacation planning. Max has been asking me every day if we can go back to Disney world. I'm so grateful that he has good memories of it!

Day 4- Hollywood studios

Probably our very favorite day was in Hollywood studios

Max was so excited to meet Mike Wazowski. Sammy was terrified of Sully.

Shrunk down to the size of ants.

 Missing our beloved New York.
 Fighting the bad guys
The coolest ride ever! We got to it at about 10:00 and got fast passes to come back at 6:30 that night. NOts! But it was probably my very favorite ride this time except maybe splash mountain. Super cool!

3rd Day.

I think Max's very favorite thing in Disneyland was tom Sawyer Island. His imagination was going wild! We let him lead the way while we explored it and he just loved it! It contains dimly lit caves, cool bridges, a wind mill, and a super cool fort with pretend rifles in lookout towers. Yep he had so much fun! He just kept saying, "Follow me! This way!!!"

We also really enjoyed Tomorrow Land! Its got such a cool layout and some cool new things, although I kept thinking it could be about a million times cooler if they would update it to be more like todays tomorrow, instead of the tomorrow of the 1950s. I wanted to see some Wall-E Robots, but there was a fun monstropolis laugh floor and the Toy Story ride.
The kids were nuts on the people movers. It was about all Javier and I could do to keep them from throwing themselves over the side.

By the end of that we were exhausted and starving, but Max wanted to ride on the Astro Orbiter sooo bad so we waited in the longest line we had to in all our time in disney land which was still only 60 minutes. Sammy was so so would up so he spent the whole hour sliding along the line barriers much to my exhaustion and the extreme entertainment of everyone within 20 people of us. To complete his act he was speaking in excited and crazy jibberish.

This night we stayed late for the electric parade and the fireworks. Pretty pretty cool! The electric parade is actually one of my very favorite things at Disney. It is so amazing! But here again I kind of wished there were more new things instead of Pete's dragon, but maybe I'm just hard to please :) The fireworks were incredible! The best part was when with light projections they turned the castle into a rocket and it took off into the sky. SO amazing!! Sammy was so excited and he loved the whole thing. Max sat down at my feet and hid his eyes, poor little guy. But he did love the electric parade so that was good.

Day 2- The Magic Kingdom and Swimming

We were up till 1:00 with the Most excited Sammy you can imagine Monday night, ha ha ha, so we got a sort of early start on Tuesday but everybody was excited!
It is so exciting to walk down Main street!

The boys LOVED its a small world! The whole way thorugh they both just kept up a constant stream of, "Wow! Look at that! Mommy did you see that?!!Daddy Look!!!" It was darling! Here they are in the line getting all excited seeing the boats. I think this was probably their favorite ride.

 I love this picture!
This might have been favorite number 2. I couldn't even look at it without feeling sick, but those boys were laughing so hard and loving it like crazy!

Dumbo. Really Sammy was able to go on almost all the rides so that was super fun. He loved these flying ones!
 Goofy's crazy circus tricks.
Sammy got so excited on the Jungle Cruise. He loves animals so this was just fun.
 "Mommy look, Raaaaar!!!"

 "Bye bye Elephants! Bye bye!"
Max volunteering to sell his head the shrunken head guy:)
Dinner at Tony's was one of my favorite things. It was just special to be there on Main street and eating spaghetti like Lady and the Tramp. Maybe it was so special because Javier was able to get us in even though we didn't have any reservations. Good job honey!
Best part was going home early and swimming! Cute boys love to swim!
They especially liked throwing balls to Goofy. I love the way Sammy says Goofy...and Donald Duck...and Mickey Mouse (he says Minnie Mouse)
